Rachel Murphy is a musical director, pianist, arranger/orchestrator based in the UK.

Originally from Glasgow, Rachel moved to London in 2013 to begin her undergraduate degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She graduated in 2017 with a BMus Hons in Classical Piano. From there, she began working as an accompanist and freelance pianist around London, regularly working with instrumentalists and singers for concerts, auditions and other public events.

Rachel's musical theatre career began in 2018 when she worked as Assistant Musical Director on BYMT's Summer production of 

'A Winter's Tale'. In 2019 she began her first professional UK Tour, 'Club Tropicana the musical', as Assistant Musical Director/Keys 2.

In 2020, Rachel gained an MA in Musical Direction from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Here she worked on a range of projects developing her skills as a Musical Director, Vocal Coach and Arranger.

Rachel has had the pleasure to perform internationally in venues across the world including China, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the UK.
